Our Academics
Our curriculum, rooted in the New Jersey Core Standards, integrates both traditional and digital materials. Each year, we reassess our resources to ensure they are up-to-date and provide our students with an education that prepares them for the next level.
K - 4
Curriculum for grades K-4 emphasizes a balanced approach to literacy, incorporating reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Math instruction focuses on building a strong foundation in number sense, operations, and problem-solving. Science and social studies lessons are designed to engage young learners with hands-on activities and explorations of the world around them.
5 - 8
Curriculum for grades 5-8 includes a comprehensive approach to English Language Arts, encouraging critical thinking through reading diverse texts and enhancing writing skills. Mathematics education progresses to include more complex concepts such as fractions, algebra, and geometry, with an emphasis on practical applications. In science and social studies, students engage in experiments and projects that deepen their understanding of natural phenomena, history, and global cultures.
Activity Day
Curriculum for art fosters creativity and self-expression, encouraging students to explore various media and techniques while appreciating diverse artistic traditions. Physical education emphasizes the importance of fitness and teamwork through a variety of sports, exercises, and cooperative activities. In Spanish, music, and choral classes, students develop language skills, musical literacy, and performance abilities, enhancing their cultural awareness and fostering a love for the arts.
